Installation Warranty

 

At Sydney Security Cameras, we offer a 12-month onsite warranty to security systems we installed for you.

For any security system installed by us, if it breaks or fails within 1 year due to our installation performance or any defects, Sydney Security Cameras will fix it,  replace it or refund the money you paid.

Details of the warranties offered on each product which forms an element of your security camera system (such as cameras, NVRs, and mounting brackets) are available at www.SydneySecurityCameras.com.au.

 

Effectiveness

When our installation team got your job done, and you paid for the full amount of the security system, the tile to the system then pass to you, and you can claim your warranty if needed.  Parts warranty comes into effect when the devices delivered and confirmed by clients. 

Transferability

Our onsite warranty can be transferred from the original security system purchaser to any subsequent purchaser of the premises at which the system is installed during the warranty period. Parts warranty can be transferred to any purchaser of the devices, a tax invoice needed for any warranty claims. Please refer to our standard terms and conditions for more details.

 

The situations warranty will no longer be valid

• Anyone other than Sydney Security Cameras or its installers, contractors or  authorised persons worked on the security system at any time, whatever repaired or altered; or

• Customer failed to comply with all reasonable instructions in relation to the proper operation and care of the security system from manufacturers or Sydney Security Cameras,  whether verbal or written.

 

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

• any abuse or malicious damage;

• fair wear and tear;

• damage caused by pests, animals or vermin;

• existing security system is done by other companies, including wiring, installation or devices;

• discolouration, oxidization or corrosion, or by any damage caused by mould;

• power surges or improper voltage;

• damage caused by accidents, or ‘acts of God’ beyond our reasonable control;

• damage caused by any alterations to your property or your network connection;

 

Compliance

Sydney Security Cameras takes it seriously to make sure our installation services comply with the Australian Consumer Law.

In the case, a problem as a result of our products or services has not been defined as ‘major failure’ under the Australian Consumer Law, we will remedy the problem within a reasonable time. Customer must provide us with access to the property, and the opportunities to fix the problem, this is totally free of charge.

In the case, a problem as a result of our products or services is not capable of being remedied or has been defined as ‘major failure’ under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to:

• cancel the agreement between you and us and get a refund;

or 

• get compensation in the value of the difference between what you paid and services delivered by us.
